How to Start a Petrol Brush Cutter 4 Stroke?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Facing Problems while starting your Brush Cutter? Toolz4Industry has compiled a full guide of the Do’s and Don’ts of How to Start a Brush Cutter.
Starting a petrol brush cutter can be a bit more involved than starting a regular lawn mower, but it’s still a relatively simple process. Here are the steps you’ll need to follow:
- Make sure you have a full tank of petrol and that the petrol is fresh. Old petrol can cause problems with the engine.
- Check the oil level in the engine. If it’s low, add oil until it’s at the correct level. In India, Most Brush cutters use 4 Stroke Oil such as 20w40 or 10w30.
- Hold the brush cutter with the handles and the engine facing away from you.
- Locate the on/off switch and set it to the “on” position.
- Locate the choke lever. On most brush cutters, this will be a small lever near the throttle control. Set the choke lever to the “choke” position.
- Hold the starter grip with one hand and use the other hand to pull the starter cord. The engine should start after a few pulls.
- Once the engine is running, set the choke lever to the “run” position.
- Adjust the throttle as needed and begin cutting.
Note:
- If the engine doesn’t start after a few pulls, it may be flooded. In this case, you’ll need to wait a few minutes for the excess petrol to evaporate before trying again.
- Oil needs to be changed every 8 hours of usage of the Brush Cutter.
- In case the Brush Cutter will not be in use for more than 2 days, please drain out the Petrol and Oil form the Brush cutter before storing it.
- After One full tank of Petrol is finished, a Rest Time of atleast 15 Minutes is advised.
